Duties:
Provide legal counsel on transactional tax matters, including tax planning and structuring.
Conduct comprehensive research on tax laws, regulations, and precedents.
Draft and review tax-related documents, agreements, and contracts.
Develop and implement tax strategies to address client needs and objectives.
Represent clients in tax-related negotiations, audits, and disputes.
Requirements:
Admission to practice law in Oregon.
5-8 years of experience practicing tax law.
Strong understanding of transactional tax matters and related legal principles.
Experience with tax matters related to public finance, tax-exempt organizations, or similar fields preferred.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to the Oregon State Bar.
