Key Responsibilities:
Holistic Design Leadership: Spearhead end-to-end design initiatives, from ideation to implementation, ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience across multiple touchpoints.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
User-Centric Innovation: Champion user-centered design principles, incorporating user feedback and data insights to continually iterate and enhance product designs.
Brand Consistency: Uphold and evolve brand aesthetics, ensuring a cohesive and recognizable visual identity across all platforms and materials.
Visual Marketing Creative: Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising teams to design and deliver creative assets for key business platforms, including website, ads, social media, and email marketing.
Design Mentorship and Collaboration: Foster a collaborative design culture by collaborating with cross-functional teams to elevate the overall design expertise within the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent certifications and/or experience.
Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
Proven Design Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading design initiatives for high-impact projects, preferably within the realm of e-commerce or related industries.
In-depth UX/UI Expertise: Strong command of UX/UI best practices, information architecture, and interaction design, with a portfolio showcasing the ability to solve complex design challenges.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Photoshop), with a solid understanding of HTML and CSS for efficient collaboration with development teams.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience leveraging data analytics, user feedback, and A/B testing to inform and validate design decisions, driving continuous improvement.
Design System Advocacy: Familiarity with creating and advocating for design systems to streamline workflows, maintain consistency, and accelerate the design process.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to align design strategies with business goals, understanding the broader market landscape and positioning our products competitively.
Experience:
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in UX/UI design, preferably in e-commerce or related fields.
Demonstrated success in leading design initiatives and projects from ideation to implementation.
Track record of creating and optimizing user interfaces for e-commerce or web applications.
Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, preferably within a startup-like setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions based on user needs and business goals.
