Job title: Investment Banking Associate
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid)
TGRC is looking for an Investment Banking Associate to take the lead on assigned deals and supervise the work produced by the Analysts or Associates.

As an Associate / Senior Associate, you will be afforded a high level of responsibility and autonomy from the outset and will work closely with mid-senior level management, reporting to a Director on the deals team. Additional responsibilities will include participation in financial and business due diligence; serving as the Engagement Lead on specific client accounts; pre-engagement planning and execution and final deliverable development.
Responsibilities: Responsible for analyzing and building sophisticated financial models and valuations used in client proposals and strategic plans, including DCF, trading comparable, tax equity structures and debt financing
Design and analyze tax equity structures
Manage day-to-day deal execution, interacting with senior deal team members, client management teams, transaction counterparties and other advisor
Assist clients in due diligence by coordinating the information flow, supervising calls and meetings between the parties, as well as reviewing and analyzing company information
Work independently, producing high-quality deliverables such as Confidential Investment Memorandums, board materials and other presentation materials for use in tax equity financing and M&A transactions or client pitches
Provide mentorship, leadership and supervision to Analysts
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field; Master’s degree with emphasis in Finance, Engineering, Math or Economics preferred
Must pass SIE, Series 79, and 63 exams within the first four months of onboarding with the firm
Minimum 2+ years of strategic business consulting, valuation, and/or investment banking experience
Minimum 2+ years of experience with tax equity structuring and transactions
Minimum 2+ years of renewable energy industry experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Financial modeling experience required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to multitask
