We are seeking an Account Manager to be responsible for developing strong customer relationships and growing business, sales and related services to our customers within the Denver/Longmont, Colorado area. Account Managers partner with our Specialists, supplier representatives, and customer experience teams to offer new and existing customers a wide variety of solutions designed to improve their bottom line. This is a great opportunity for a sales-minded professional who has a desire or interest in working with industrial tools.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for growing sales to achieve yearly sales goals with current customers and prospects
Prospect and market concepts to existing and potentially new accounts, capturing more business within existing accounts, and increasing opportunities within emerging markets
Understand Stellar's and effectively market Stellar's service abilities
Utilize manufacturer sales reps. to help develop accounts and territory
Have a regular call schedule; plan your sales calls and reasons for sales call, entering activities into CRM, SalesForce
Penetrate existing accounts; constantly look for new products and additional products we can sell. Have multiple contacts in your accounts
Strive to be a value-added salesperson, always look for ways to save the customer both time and money. Document cost savings and report to the customer
Constant and clear communication with Sales Manager on impediments to progress, suggestions for improvement, and new opportunities
Work with Branch Manager to provide business planning to reach product and sales goals
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Initiative-taking, dependable team player to work independently on site with the customer
Strong customer service orientation and pro-active problem solving
Strong organizational skills and diligence
Familiarity with MRO / maintenance supplies in a manufacturing facility is a plus
Strong experience in Excel; experience with pivot tables is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills are important
Education High school diploma or GED at minimum; additional education a plus
Experience 3-5 years outside sales experience
Industry related experience, including cutting tools or metalworking is desirable but not required
