The Growth Marketing Director will be a senior member of the SNH Consulting team (Business Strategy & Transformation team) and will be an instrumental part of the long-term value creation activities across the SNH portfolio.

Summary:

The Growth Marketing Director will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the market positions of our portfolio companies. This individual will work closely with CEOs, CROs, and leadership teams across various industries to develop and execute growth marketing strategies that are innovative, effective, and ROI-driven.

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced B2B growth marketing practitioner: data-driven, rigorous, creative, product-focused, and agile (experiment-oriented). The ideal candidate is someone who can guide executive teams, establish strategy, lead implementation and activation, and (importantly) measure results.

This is a great role for someone who’s excited to bring a high-energy approach to a number of different industries, product-sets, and leadership teams. The person in this role will be the growth marketing leader at SNH, and will fractionally serve two or three portfolio companies at a time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Growth Marketing Development: Craft comprehensive growth marketing strategies that align with the Firm's long-term goals and the specific needs of each portfolio company. This includes identifying target markets, setting clear objectives, and defining key performance indicators.

Lead Generation and ROI Analysis: Implement activities focused on generating new customer leads. Develop and oversee campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring each activity has a clear ROI associated with it.

Cross-Company Collaboration: Work closely with executives across portfolio companies to share best practices, resources, and insights. Establish a collaborative environment that fosters innovative marketing solutions.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to inform marketing strategies, monitor performance, and make adjustments as needed. Ensure all marketing efforts are measurable and aligned with business objectives.

Marketing Playbook Development: Create and maintain a comprehensive marketing playbook that serves as a guide for best practices in growth marketing strategies across the portfolio.

Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the sales and marketing teams in each portfolio company, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement, and identifying any gaps in skills or organizational support.

Proven Experience in B2B Growth Marketing: At least ten years of experience in growth marketing roles with demonstrable success in growth marketing, lead generation, and ROI analysis – in a B2B environment. Familiarity with media planning, buying, and content creation.

Strategic Thinking and Execution: Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies in a multi-product, multi-channel environment.

Data Analytics Proficiency: Strong skills in data analysis and using data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies. Experience in attributing each marketing touch to the overall customer journey. Comfortable with reporting and changing direction based on data.

Leadership and Collaboration: Experience in leading marketing teams and working collaboratively with executives and stakeholders across various functions.

Adaptability and Innovation: Ability to adapt to different industries and create innovative marketing solutions tailored to each company's needs.

Educational Background: College degree in marketing, business, or a related field. MBA is a differentiator.

Additional requirements:

Willingness to Travel: Occasional travel to portfolio company locations, expected to be less than 20% of the time.

Location: Based in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate.
