Our Marketing Team Values

The Role

We’re looking for a marketing generalist who can own a number of key campaigns, as well as be a hands-on, make-it-happen support for the rest of the team. If you’re someone who doesn’t need all the answers to get started, gets a kick out of solving a brain teaser, enjoys stumbling on good marketing and figuring out how they did it, and makes micro adjustments to everything until it’s “just right”, and just generally likes other people. you’re probably a good fit for this role.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will shift as the business shifts and as you identify and raise your hand for new initiatives. Current responsibilities are:

Lead generation – Finding new ways to find merchants who need our services and convince them to talk to us. Right now this includes things like a referral program and live event marketing efforts.

Sales enablement – Helping our sales teams close the deal with content, customer incentives, campaigns, and anything else they need.

Merchant activation efforts – Our key customers are service businesses like plumbers, HVAC shops, and fencing companies. You’ll create everything from social posts, blog posts, emails, training videos, run our customer loyalty group, and our bi-annual “sweepstakes” event to motivate merchants to offer Wisetack.

Online reputation – It’s useful for all our marketing efforts when customers share their experience with others online, so you’ll create ways to make sure this happens, as well as share positive and negative feedback with our product and account management teams.

Campaign and communications support – It takes a village to move the marketing wheel. We’ll ask for your help on things like inventory management, general email sends, generating custom marketing materials, and more.

Requirements

2+ years of marketing experience

Familiarity with Hubspot

Strong copywriting skills

Experience with a startup, fintech/lending experience preferred

Offer

The range of base salary for the position is between $75,000 - $105,000, plus equity, and benefits . Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies.
