**Summary/objective**
The Warehouse Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the operations of the warehouse, including all shipping and receiving. They will work closely with the Purchasing and Inventory departments to keep an up-to-date record of stock inventory. Warehouse Manager are responsible for the recruitment and training of new warehouse team members.

* Work closely with Purchasing department and Inventory manager to ensure accurate inventory
* Perform regular cycle counts as provided by the Inventory Manager
* Keep stock control systems up to date and ensure inventories are accurate
* Oversee receiving, storing, and distribution of products
* Oversee delivery of customer orders
* Oversee the planned maintenance of warehouse, vehicles, machinery, and equipment
* Organize the recruitment and training of staff
* Monitor staff performance and progress
* Brief warehouse staff on a daily basis
* Manage day to day operations of the warehouse
* Maintain a safe working environment
**Competencies**

**Required education and experience**
* 3 to 5 years work experience as a warehouse lead, laborer, and/or supervision
* Progression of work experience leading into warehouse management
* Planning and organizing skills to effectively manage the flow of stock
* Ability to implement process, safety improvements, and communicate effectively
* Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
* Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure
* Knowledge of normal Microsoft Suite Programs and MRP/ERP Systems
* High School Graduate Required
* Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
