Major Responsibilities Include:
Implementing engaging programing specifically catered to the needs of residents living with dementia
Plans and facilitates dementia training
Provides and/or coordinates support and education for families on dementia/aging/disease process
Builds vendor and volunteer relationships to enrich engagement
Supervising caregiving team working in the Memory Care community
Works closely with Director of Wellness to ensure resident safety and quality of care and reports any concerns
Collaborates with Culinary Director on special events, themes, meal feedback, snack ideas, and overall dining experience
Participates in leader on duty rotation
Point of contact for families
Reports resident safety concerns to Executive Director and Wellness Director
