As we deepen our dedication to being an AI thought leader, we're seeking a Manager, AI Communications to join our team, reporting to the Senior Director, Global Corporate and Executive Communications. This role is central to articulating our AI narrative, ensuring that it resonates not only across our diverse business units but also with our global audience, including current and potential customers, industry analysts, and the media.

The Manager, AI Communications will play a crucial role in steering Qlik's AI communications strategy, crafting compelling content that showcases our leadership in AI and data analytics. Working closely with corporate communications, product marketing, R&D, and our external AI Council, this individual will ensure our message is consistently aligned with the latest AI advancements and trends. This role demands a keen eye on the future, anticipating the direction of the AI conversation and positioning Qlik not just as a participant but as a trailblazer in these discussions.

Our ideal candidate will navigate extensive cross-functional collaborations, engaging with various stakeholders to infuse our AI positioning throughout the organization. From developing blog posts and case studies to spearheading speaking engagements, the scope of responsibility is broad, targeting a wide range of audiences. Success in this role will be measured qualitatively, focusing on the clarity, strength, and consistency of our AI messaging, reflecting our cutting-edge position in the market.

Develop and implement an AI thought leadership strategy that supports Qlik's overall corporate communications objectives and AI vision.

Identify and pursue speaking opportunities at industry conferences, webinars, and panels to showcase Qlik's AI vision and achievements.

Monitor industry trends and pitch timely AI narratives to media, securing interviews, features, and op-eds in relevant publications.

Continuously analyze AI and data analytics trends, providing strategic insights to keep Qlik ahead of the competitive curve.

Liaise with the Qlik AI Council, leveraging their expertise on high-impact opportunities and ensuring their time is effectively utilized.

Collaborate closely with product marketing, R&D, and corporate communications to ensure messaging consistency and accuracy.

Engage with sales and customer success teams to craft AI messaging that supports business goals and meets customer needs.

Manage resources for AI communications initiatives under the guidance of the Senior Director, ensuring efficient and impactful execution.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications , Marketing, Journalism, Computer Science, or related field required.

At least 7 years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, or a related area, with a significant focus on AI or technology sectors.

Strong content creation skills, with a portfolio that includes a range of formats (blogs, case studies, white papers).

In-depth knowledge of AI and data analytics trends, with the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible messaging.

Proven ability to work collaboratively across functional teams, demonstrating strong leadership and project management skills.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for storytelling that engages and informs diverse audiences.

Experience engaging with high-level stakeholders, including C-suite executives, industry analysts, and media representatives.

Familiarity with the technological landscape, including understanding of data integration, business intelligence, and analytics platforms.

Strategic thinker with a creative edge, able to anticipate future trends in AI and position the company as a leader.

High level of initiative and independence, balanced with an ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.

Openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the fast-evolving AI space.

Willingness to occasionaly travel, primarily domestically for key Qlik events and partner engagements.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $ 10 8 , 96 0 .00 USD MIN – 145, 000.00 USD MAX per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package .
