**Description**

The Mobile Therapist is responsible for direct therapy with children enrolled in the Centers daily Creating Opportunities for Relating and Engaging program (C.O.R.E.). This position reports to the Behavior Consultant.
**Responsibilities:**
* Responsible for overall functioning of program and program environment as it relates to their program room and clients
* Continuously assess effectiveness of treatment interventions
* Responsible for planning, organizing, and maintaining physical environment of program room
* Shared responsibility for planning, organizing and maintaining of shared program spaces
* Responsible for treatment plan implementation
* Responsible for accuracy of daily data collection materials
* Audit progress notes on a daily basis for billing purposes
* Ensure mentoring, modeling and accountability to new employees and team members without supervisor responsibility
* Facilitate and write weekly room activity schedule and distribute to Behavior Consultant and team for review, including special activities and field trips
* Submit orders for and maintain equipment for program room
* Ensure timely completion and accuracy of clinical assessments
* Coordinate with team and CORE Clinical Director to plan for coverage issues
* Ensure daily data is collected accurately via the rating form, including comments
* Cover for billing in the absence of other staff
* Clearly communicate information to team, supervisors and families
* Complete weekly reports regarding events in the program room and with the children
* In compliance with the Centers policies, provide clinical supervision to Behavioral Health Technicians, Mental Health Specialists and Program Aides in accordance with CFA and IBHS regulations
* Participate in interview/hiring process
* Participate in team meetings
* Other duties as assigned by supervisors
**Skills:**
* Credible or other similar program
* Physical ability to lift children, play on the floor and run with/after children
* Able to move (repeatedly) from a standing to kneeling position and back
* Detail oriented
* Ability to meet deadlines
**Experience:**
* One year, full-time, post-Masters direct care of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder under 21 years of age experience (preferred)
* One year of Supervisory experience (preferred)
**Education Requirement:**
* Education/Experience:
+ Be licensed in The Commonwealth of PA as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist or clinical social worker.
***OR***
* Be licensed in The Commonwealth of PA as a social worker or a behavior specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.
***OR***
* Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.
***OR***
* Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree with a least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or a related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.
