Traditionally, the only way to discover and improve business processes has involved big projects, expensive consultants, intrusive over-the-shoulder observations, and countless meetings. The results are one-time snapshots of limited accuracy that take months to produce, and then are quickly out of date.

At Zeitworks, we use automated data collection and Machine Learning to automatically discover, analyze and improve an organization’s business processes with zero disruption, and provide business leaders with business insights in near real-time. Our disruptive technology and SaaS delivery model allow us to democratize process improvement by taking it directly to the leaders and team members that perform the work. Role And Responsibilities

Zeitworks uses its proprietary Zeitworks Sensor to collect detailed user activity stream data and cutting edge AI models for process discovery. We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join us to build out our web portals including our customer portal, analytics dashboard, account administration tools and self-service offering. You will be responsible for architecting and building scalable solutions for securely delivering our SaaS products that enable our customers to automatically discover, analyze, and improve their business operations.

All members of our engineering team are responsible for contributing to our fast development cycle, including Agile / Scrum, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery, as well as the quality and stability of our code. As a member of the engineering team you will be responsible for the development of effective development and production systems. Contribute to the expansion of the company’s intellectual property, and patent portfolio. And continuously eliminate friction from the customer experience.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience required with building server-side applications with Node.js, Java or C#, etc.

BS or equivalent in Computer Science or related field desired

Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS and at least one UI library/framework (e.g., React, Angular, etc.)

Very knowledgeable of AWS including managed AWS services

Experience in querying and structuring relational databases using SQL

Experience with consuming and/or implementing RESTful APIs

Familiar with Docker containers and Kubernetes

Experience with build and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins

Experience integrating 3rd Party APIs and authentication services

Knowledge of scalable and reliable software systems, including a solid grasp of CI/CD and SDLC concepts: code review standard methodologies, code coverage analysis, unit testing, continuous test, and delivery

Experience with secure design and coding practices

Experience with source code management and tools like GitHub

Ability to work independently, self-directed and solutions oriented, demonstrating success in owning projects end-to-end, including working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience working in an agile framework development model

Proven ability of partnering with stakeholders across all levels including analytics professionals, operational staff and executives

Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication and technical documentation skills

A big plus

Experience with large-scale data processing and analytics technologies

Experience with data visualization, analytics dashboards, etc. using libraries such as D3.js, Highcharts, Chart.js, Plotly, etc.

Domain knowledge of data/process mining and business process discovery
