JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining all aspects of provider data including provider directory, files and backup/support for directory audits. Providing departmental support to include answering phones and additional clerical duties. Assists with process improvement activities related to the flow of provider data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides efficient maintenance of provider data and provider directory.
Provides support for audits.
Maintains and distributes reports.
Answering phones and routing calls appropriately.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS : Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
Ability to think quickly and respond tactfully to sometimes difficult issues in dealing with providers.
Proficient in Microsoft applications.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associates degree in business, healthcare or related area. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Three years of administrative experience.
Customer Service experience preferred.
