Epson America, Inc. is seeking a talented Product Marketing Manager in the Epson Microdevices group to provide creative leadership in marketing Timing Products (Crystals and Oscillators) to Epson’s wide array of Data Center Networking and 5G customers. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with passion for growing our business and the right blend of technical background and customer management skills.

Your contributions:
1. Segment Marketing
a. Drive end equipment analysis for assigned segments Datacenter servers, storage, and Networking products
b. Present business plans to R&D and senior management
c. Drive channel demand creation through engagement activities and trainings with Sales representatives and Distribution
d. Map industry & customer design locations
e. Perform TAM/SAM/SOM analysis
f. Collect equipment block diagrams and understand what drives timing requirements
g. Execute customer campaigns in end equipment application segments
h. Pursue reference designs with IC vendors making architectural silicon
2. Technical Product Marketing
a. Present Epson products and product roadmap to customer design engineers
b. Own product line presentations, datasheets, web content, and sales training for assigned timing (crystals and oscillator) products
c. Create marketing collateral like White papers, blogs, videos, application notes etc.
d. Conduct competitive analysis
e. Initiate new product proposals and work with R&D and senior management to manage roadmap for assigned products
f. Actively participate in product life cycle management (NPI, NRND, EOL etc.) with engineering, Sales, Operations and R&D teams
g. Assist customers with product selection, including crosses and configuration
3. Customer Account Management
a. Actively engage with existing customers and grow the existing customer base
b. Extract key project information from customer meetings, document and organize technical information and actively engage with R&D teams to provide timely feedback to customers to exceed their expectations
c. Keep senior management up to date with the account information.
Your Experience:
• Strong initiative, self-starter, curiosity, can-do attitude is a must
• Strong customer management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, including working in a multi-cultural and geographically distributed team environment
• Attention to detail, proven ability to multi-task
• Strong technical fundamentals
• Knowledge in analog circuit design, jitter and frequency is a plus
• Strong engineering, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with electronics distributors and manufacturers’ representatives is preferred
• Knowledge of account management and basic marketing concepts
• Strong communications skills – written, oral, presentation, and listening
• Regular travel to customers – up to 25%, US and international
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree and 5+ years of equivalent and relevant working experience
