We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager to join our team and help us deliver exceptional and timely results to our clients.

Job Description: The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing various landscaping and construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a passion for landscape design and construction.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, enthusiastic, proud of their work, and is comfortable getting dirty on occasion.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and managing all phases of landscape and construction projects.

Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and communicate progress updates.

Schedule and supervise the work of subcontractors and in-house teams.

Assist crews on-site as needed to maximize efficiency.

Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Monitor project budgets and timelines and make adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.

Monitor call-backs and make adjustments as necessary

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including work orders, change orders, and progress reports.

Conduct site visits to inspect work quality and resolve any issues that arise.

Assist in sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers for best prices and quality.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in landscaping or construction.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Knowledge of landscaping and construction techniques, materials, and best practices.

Knowledge of excavating and asphalt; irrigation is a plus.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; a valid MA hoisting engineer's license is a plus.

Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, and lifting over 50 lbs on occasion.
