In this pivotal role, you will be a part of a cybersecurity team responsible for implementing security in each phase of SDLC. Work closely with development teams and help them understand application vulnerabilities and the remediation.

Role Responsibilities

Managing SAST, DAST and SCA tools which include regular maintenance of infrastructure, install updates of the tools, test policy maintenance, connect with vendors for any tool enhancements or troubleshooting support, etc.

Perform Application Security Testing / Application penetration testing of Web App, APIs, Mobile and Thick client application using commercial and open-source tools.

Performing code reviews from a security point of view and assist the development team on possible remediations.

Evaluate security controls and update severity of vulnerabilities based on controls.

Implement security testing tools in CI/CD pipeline and ensure.

Perform design and architecture review of various applications.

Provide mentorship to new joiners in the team.

Find automation opportunities gathering business knowledge from stakeholders, exploring large volumes of complex data, and testing hypothesis using traditional and cutting-edge machine learning models.

Design, plan, develop, implement, and maintain innovative artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions against business requirements.

Role Requirements Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, or similar fields. Equivalent work experience is acceptable.

6+ years of application security experience

Expert with application and network security/penetration testing tools and methodologies

Expert in secure application programming, code reviewing, and penetration testing web and mobile applications.

Expert in top security flaws and resolutions as listed by OWASP, SANS etc.

Strong experience with web technologies (scripting, SSL, HTTP/S) and their security requirements.

Experience with Deep Learning and security frameworks like MLlib, Tensor Flow, SAIF. Expertise in segmentation, regression, machine learning (feature extraction, classification, clustering)

Knowledge of modern web and mobile applications frameworks and their security requirements

Knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and standards.

Knowledge of Web Application Firewalls, SSL/TLS, Forward and reverse proxies.

Knowledge of security considerations around virtualization and cloud applications.

Knowledge of incident response, forensics and evidence preservation.

Expertise in data visualization, modeling and optimization techniques languages - Python, AWS.

Ability to communicate technical security requirements to technical and non-technical personnel.

Ability to collaborate with technical and vendor personnel including cloud service providers.

Salary

The base salary range is $135,000 - 167,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary and short-term (15% of base) and long-term (5% of base), incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
