Job Summary:
VM Server Build, Install, Configuring and Managing Virtual Infrastructure and Virtual Pools as per the Client request
Creating and managing Resource pools and adding the VM into resource pools
Creating and Managing VMware Cluster
P2V and V2V Conversion by suing VMware converter
Enabling HA and DRS features in a Cluster
Troubleshooting problems and generating reports
Manage Users, Groups and permission and roles
Troubleshooting Virtual machine issues
Taking backup and restoring
Creation of desktop golden images for VMware
Roles & Responsibilities
IP protocol and subnet masking All Networking topologies
Switching and configuration options (VLANS, HSRP, NSSA, DHCP, PBR, VPN's, NAT)
Wireless: WiFi, AP/tunnel aggregation, white/black lists, QoS, , site surveys
Solve complex problems with many variables
Develop the customer's operations & system integration plan including end-to-end scenarios including schedules and budgets
Work directly with Agency and State technical resources to troubleshoot network problems.
Experience with network architecture for LAN and WAN technologies, including design, development, and diagram creation
Experience with Cisco network devices, including wired, wireless, routers, switches, load balancer, firewalls, and VoIP Experience with routing protocols, including TCP/IP, IPv4 or IPv6, and OSI routing framework
Experience with storage infrastructure and virtualization, including iSCSI standard, NAS, and SAN infrastructure and configuration
Develop the technical network strategy roadmap
Develops and approves Root Cause Analysis (RCA's) and drives proactive / preventive process improvement Develops and evolves network Methods & Procedures (M&P'S) on an ongoing basis
