We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our legal team as a Workers Compensation Defense Attorney. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in California Workers Comp cases and providing legal advice and guidance on a variety of legal matters. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in California Workers Comp cases
Provide legal advice and guidance on a variety of legal matters
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
Attend hearings and trials
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other legal professionals
Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to California Workers Comp
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in the California State Bar
0-5 years of experience as a workers compensation defense attorney or workers compensation attorney
Strong knowledge of California Workers Comp laws and regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines
