As the CFO you'll hold a pivotal leadership role, tasked with providing strategic guidance and oversight to the commercial finance function. Your mission will be to propel the organization's financial success by crafting and implementing comprehensive financial strategies that harmonize with business objectives. Collaborating closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams, you'll ensure that financial goals synchronize with overarching business strategies. As a trusted advisor, your role will involve offering insights and recommendations to foster revenue growth, enhance profitability, and streamline costs. Leveraging your expertise in financial analysis and forecasting, you'll pinpoint opportunities for business expansion while minimizing financial risks. Key Responsibilities:
Steering the commercial finance function with strategic direction and oversight.
Formulating and executing holistic financial strategies in line with business goals.
Partnering with senior executives and cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with overall business strategies.
Offering insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth and optimize profitability, including developing market intelligence frameworks, monitoring pipeline health, and enhancing sales force productivity.
Conducting thorough financial analysis and forecasting to unearth opportunities for business expansion and mitigate financial risks.
Mentoring and leading a team of commercial finance professionals.
Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Crafting and delivering financial reports, forecasts, and strategic plans to senior executives.
Spearheading financial performance initiatives, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and optimizing resource allocation.
Leading transformative activities in business and functions aimed at standardizing work processes, establishing Management Operating Systems (MOS), and driving growth through effective process redesign, tools, and analytics.
Qualifications:
YOU MUST HAVE
A minimum of 15+ years of experience in commercial finance or related roles.
Previous experience in a leadership or director-level position
Demonstrated track record of enhancing financial performance and achieving business objectives.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent grasp of financial principles and practices.
Proficiency in financial analysis software and MS Office.
Leadership acumen to effectively inspire and lead a team.
