How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Branch Manager is responsible for all critical issues of the branch,including sales, sales growth, budgeting, gross margins, managingdirect reports, and all operational expenses. Other key areas ofresponsibility include safety, customer service, inventory levels andresolution of personnel issues. Assist outside salespersons in preparingquotes, maintaining all required literature, providing customerfollow-up, and gathering sales leads. Schedule and follow-up ondeliveries, pre-call customers before scheduled deliveries. Control costsand monitor fiscal performance compared to budget. Maintain a store in aclean and orderly manner. Schedule staffing to ensure excellent customerserviThis is a full time position with a full benefits package and a Monday throughFriday workweek. Evaluate and monitor day-to-day activities of the branch to ensure costeffective operations and a safe and productive work environment.
Establish and maintain clear and consistent lines of communication with directreports and internal departments relative to customer successes, customerfailures, new customer developments and other customer specific information
Manages all branch personnel in accordance with company policies by hiring,training, motivating, planning and directing work. Provide performancefeedback and development opportunities.
Accurately complete and submit all sales-related paperwork (e.g.,shippers, invoices, cylinder audits, month-end reports, cashreconciliations, deposits, etc.) in a timely manner
Participates in the preparation of market and competitor information andannual sales analysis and forecast.
Works in accordance with all policies and procedures and rules as prescribedby State, Federal and the Company. _ _ Are you a MATCH?
Previous management experience in a customer facing environment
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with the aid ofmaterial handling equipment
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Ability to work independently
Good communication skills (verbal and written)Preferred:
3+years' experience in the welding or safety industry
5+ years' experience in sales with proven success
