Your work environment at EXP
In this position, you will be part of our Transportation and Construction division. EXP is currently seeking a Rail/Transit Program Manager to join our highly regarded transportation group in Southern California.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to EXP's success by collaborating with a highly multidisciplinary team and it's also a great opportunity to demonstrate your technical skills on a variety of electrical projects. Your progression within our company will be established to enable you to expand your areas of interest.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
* Build strong relationships with our transit agency clients and stay informed of their needs, priorities, project schedules, and become their trusted advisor/consultant.
* Coordinate with transit agencies and prime consultants/contractors pursuing transit projects in California and across the USA & Canada and lead/participate in team-building efforts.
* Collaborate with and assist EXP transit teams in pursuit of projects, managing transit contracts, providing advisory services, and other related services throughout the United States and Canada.
* Lead constructability reviews, development of projects and services cost estimates and schedules for transit projects.
* Ensure the projects meet or exceed the clients' expectations.
* Ensure safety measures are appropriately taken throughout the life of the project and are considered in your daily decisions/direction.
* Assist with pursuits
* Other tasks as necessary
What your experience looks like
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with 15+ years of experience
* Professional Engineering license
* Substantial administrative ability with solid organizational skills
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage and work within a teams
* Considerable experience and track record of successful transit project/task delivery.
* Must have and maintain a good driving record
The pay range for this role is $175,000 to $235,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
