Description

ICF is a mission-driven company filled with people who care deeply about improving the lives of others and making the world a better place. Our core values include Embracing Difference; we seek candidates who are passionate about building a culture that encourages, embraces, and hires dimensions of difference.

@ ICF Next Government, we are fearless in finding new ways to solve problems, relentless in making sure it pays off for our clients and committed to making a positive change in the world. Join our community of mission-driven creatives, communicators, strategists, and technologists to challenge the status quo.

We’re currently hiring for a UX/UI Designer to support federal and commercial clients.

As a UX/UI Designer, you will:

Be confident in working independently as a designer, but collaboratively as part of a larger project team

Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes and other mockups for websites and applications using Figma to illustrate UX ideas and concepts.

Be comfortable sharing ideas, concepts, and designs with clients and/or other team members

Provide additional documentation and annotations for your designs and assist developers in implementing your designs

Inform your designs with research via competitive/comparative analysis, heuristic reviews, user interviews, or other research techniques appropriate for the project

Assist facilitation or organization of workshops with users, stakeholders or internal team members, such as design studios or brainstorming sessions

Assist or facilitate usability testing with designs and incorporate feedback into new iterations of the design

Use your creativity to help find solutions for the unique problems the user or customer may have

Be eager to learn from your colleagues and be an active contributor to the team’s collective knowledge

As a UX/UI Designer, you will have:

1+ years of experience in a UX design or similar role

Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction, computer science, psychology, or a related field

Candidates must be willing to complete the e-QIP and undergo a standard federal government background check for this role. Employment is contingent on fitness for the position.

Must be a US citizen (required by federal government for the position)

Professional Skills:

Demonstrated resiliency and experience in client-facing roles requiring tactful communications in fast-moving environments

Ability to collaborate with teams in an agile setting and work across many workstreams

Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on attention to detail to produce client-ready reports and presentations

Talent for anticipating obstacles and risk in projects and proactively seeking solutions to mitigate them

A self-starter who is comfortable with a variety of UX skills, and perhaps considered a generalist in the field

Job Location(s): This is a remote position open to all U.S. citizens.
