Job Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will be the primary leader for construction projects, providing leadership and serving as a liaison between project team members. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing, coordinating, implementing, and managing all facets necessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and to quality and regulatory standards.
Leading and collaborating on pre-construction RFP packages.
Developing and managing the budget and resource allocation for all projects.
Ensuring that all project documentation is filed and current.
Conducting project meetings, including critical milestones and monthly client reports.
Establishing job processes, approving pay applications, and negotiating subcontractor change orders.
Generating project scheduling, ensuring project control and overall project logistics are addressed.
Identifying and resolving potential obstacles or risks to the project, and providing timely communication to all involved.
Managing the closeout process to ensure timely occupancy.
Establishing and maintaining client relationships to stay current on potential needs and opportunities for continued partnerships.
Supervising all team roles assigned to the project, collaborating with the site superintendent to address any concerns related to the job site operations.
Performing related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
High school diploma.
5+ years of experience in commercial construction and working with a general contractor .
Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated leadership in decision-making and establishing and maintaining relationships.
Mastery in reading, interpreting, and updating construction-related drawings for projects.
Ability to organize necessary resources (people, tools, time, budget) to meet deadlines and achieve results.
Proficiency in project-specific software: ProCore, Bluebeam, Adobe, CMiC, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to interpret data and information and communicate insights and actions needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Four-year degree from an accredited university within the construction, engineering, or business concentrations.
Previous experience on commercial job sites.
Other Requirements
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
