TRANSPLANT NURSE COORD - Kidney Transplant (Temple University Hospital / 40HR Day Shift) - ( 242390 )
In conjunction with the transplant team, assumes responsibility for coordinating the delivery of care for the transplant patient. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice involved in providing nursing care. Familiarity with organization and function of departments, policies, procedures and regulations. Orchestrates the care of patients with end stage organ disease. CCTC - Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator required within 2 years of eligibility and completed 12 month onboarding process. CCTC examination must be scheduled within 18 months of hire and scheduled every 90 days thereafter until successful attainment of CCTC and no later than 3 years from date of hire.
Education
Bachelors Degree : in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. (Required)
Masters Degree : in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. (Preferred)
Experience
3 Years experience in nursing. (Required)
General experience and knowledge of Electronic Medical Record. (Required)
General Experience in a Transplant program. (Preferred)
General Experience in critical care (Preferred)
License/Certifications
RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
CCTC - Cert Clinical Transplant Coord (Required)
Hours : 8:00am to 4:30pm
