About the role

As the Associate Director, Product Management - WMS, you will partner cross functionally across the organization to craft, influence and execute the strategy and vision for the companys Inventory Management Systems, focusing on the warehouse management area. This role requires the ability to understand how all of the systems work at the logic level, expertise in workflow design and process improvement, and a deep understanding of warehousing, operations and inventory management. We are looking for product managers who are passionate about building the ideal customer experience while striving to understand the complexities of system integrations and operational impacts.

* Ownership of WMS Product Roadmap and Lifecycle, including integration with ERP and other in-house systems

* Conduct build vs. buy analyses on WMS solutions as needed

* Work with business users through both strategic and tactical planning discussions to develop functional requirements

* Effectively communicate requirements and business needs to technical teams

* Cross functional team product/program management; Responsible for communicating roadmaps, priorities, and decisions across partners and business stakeholders

* Understand nuances of WMS system inputs and outputs, and the impacts of changes on the overall production and inventory mgmt process; document and communicate workflow updates

* Stay up to date and integrate when applicable the latest inventory management and logistics technology and systems

The experience you have

* 5+ years of professional experience in inventory management, supply chain management, and/or operations, with 3+ years in a product management role

* BA/BS with emphasis on quantitative skills such as in engineering, mathematics, or business; masters preferred

* Experience developing and implementing warehouse management and/or operations systems, ideally both in-house and external

* Excel macros and SQL mastery; excellent communication and writing skills

* You are detailed oriented and understand the need for accuracy and precision. But you can also take a step back and think about the long-term strategy and vision. If you love workflows, logic and data this role is perfect for you.
