Description Duties and Responsibilities:
Creation of Python based data processing modules that interact with a MsSQL database and various external API based systems.
Work to maintain established application code base, including UIs and API integrations
Work with other HNB teams to enhance existing API integration and establish opportunities for new integrations.
Serve as Level 1/2 team member for troubleshooting and resolving Incidents or Change Requests that are opened against the application.
Work with Level 3 team members to resolve edge cases and identify opportunities for system improvements & optimization
Maintain and document data processing workflows, including Visio flowcharts, Word based guides, etc.
Create all required technical documentation in accordance with Huntington's Change Control and project management processes and procedures
Work with leadership & Huntington Configuration Management team to understand upcoming requirements and provide insight into process enhancements.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of related experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Min 3 years working with Enterprise Infrastructure devices, including, but not limited to: Network devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers), Servers (Windows, AIX/UNIX, ESXi hosts), Storage devices (MDS Switches, Storage Arrays, etc.)
Min 3 years of professional software development OR 5 years of software development, including home based projects, school projects, etc.
Min 3 years of professional SQL development OR 5 years of SQL developments, including home based projects, school projects, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced data analysis, SQL, and database mining skills
Advanced understanding of UNIX/Linux and scripting languages; Python, JavaScript, VBScript, Perl or Tcl
Advanced understanding of API calls, data structures, transport protocols (SOAP, REST, etc.)
Advanced understanding of Data Analysis Automation
Demonstrable ability to learn and apply technical skills
Effective Time Management with ability to adjust to changing priorities and handling multiple initiatives
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to adapt to the audience
Familiarity of ServiceNow or similar ITIL productions
Familiarity of CMDB or other Asset/Configuration Management style databases
Experience facilitating group sessions to gather requirements with ability to ask relevant questions to drill into the details
Experience tracking and driving deliverables to completion
Works well under pressure and with deadlines
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) ( No = eligible for overtime pay)
