Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for checking in and rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, height, weight and chief complaints. You will be required to accurately log all patient information in our EPIC EMR system. Additionally, you will perform phlebotomy and injections (don't worry if you're not trained in these yet, we can help you with that).
Hard Skills
+ High School Graduate or higher
+ 6 months+ experience as a Medical Assistant
+ Computer skills
+ Experience with EPIC EMR system
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Belmont, Massachusetts.
Work Environment
You will be supporting one provider, seeing one patient every 20 minutes. Your usual working hours will be from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with one Friday per month requiring you to stay until 5:30 pm if providers are done. Your work setting will be a primary care office where your tasks will include front desk responsibilities, greeting and checking in patients, and obtaining vital signs, height, weight etc.
