Looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) for our reputable team of mental health professionals!

Job Description:
Applicants must be willing to work full-time, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities
Managing correspondence between patients and healthcare providers
Taking patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight
Collecting medical histories and patient information
Assisting with medical procedures, such as administering injections
Performing diagnostic/behavioral tests
Communicating with patients regarding their care, medications, and treatment plans
Educating patients about their health conditions and treatment options
Responding to patient inquiries and concerns
Updating patient medical records
Handling prior authorization, pre-certification, and medication refills
Qualifications: Working knowledge/experience of EMR / HER
Typing speed of at least 40 WPM (words per minute)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
Able to answer and screen incoming calls
Adhere to established office policies and procedures
Maintain a positive working relationship and cultivate a cooperative work environment
Must be trustworthy and dependable and maintain a sense of humor and a positive attitude
