About the role
Your role is to lead AI initiatives across the company to infuse intelligence into the software delivery platform.
While most of the recent innovations have been around generating code, there is significant toil associated with landing that code as usable features to users. Managing the performance, security, cost, reliability and efficiency involves infusing AI at every step of the software delivery toolchain. This is the outer loop that needs to be addressed with the explosion of generated code!
Your role will be to formulate an AI strategy at Harness
Guide a team of engineers while interfacing with various modules to PoC and implement AI capabilities that significantly improve and challenge status quo

Is aware of the current generative AI landscape and is up to date with evolving technologies
Understands training methodologies, foundation models, AI libraries, open source technologies etc and can help with rapid prototyping/experimentation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $220,000 - $260,000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
