**In this position…**

The Central Delivery Office is adding an Infrastructure Product Manager to support he Enterprise Platform Engineering & Operations (EPEO) Team. This dynamic team's mission is to manage and mature our Service to Platform Transformation, Communications, Training, DEI/culture and organizational change. The team is responsible for guiding the Platform Transformation of the teams, which includes ~ 2000 team members, working on platforms such as: Google Cloud Platform, Application Hosting, High Performance Computing, Networking, and Employee Experience. In addition, the team also has Product Management responsibilities for infrastructure products or projects such as the Threat Detection and Response Platform, Manufacturing CaaS, China Data Center Optimization, and Azure B2C. Our role on these projects is to support tech and architecture design, map out necessary systems and dependencies, and own the responsibility for ensuring the necessary service teams are able to deliver.

The Infrastructure Product Manager will help resolve and escalate impediments, manage risks, and help assure value delivery. The Infrastructure Product Manager will be accountable for the overall planning, customer value roadmap, PI Planning, reporting and demand planning.

**SOUTHEAST MI RESIDENTS:** Please note, this job is posted as remote unless the selected candidate lives within 50 miles of Dearborn, MI, then if may require hybrid onsite schedule, up to 60% of the time

**What you'll do…**

+ Work with the Platforms team who prioritize the features to be considered in the next planning interval (PI) planning cycle.

+ Assist the Platform’s communication and coordination with stakeholders and customers during feature definition and delivery.

+ Drive mitigation of cross team impediments

+ Demand Planning and Customer Research. ​

+ Face off with external teams and own the requirement gathering, pairing with anchors when needed. ​

+ Own the Customer value aspects of the roadmap, and tying the roadmap to the portfolio vision

+ Facilitation of PI Planning and Reporting on Status.

+ Understand, visualize, and manage upstream/downstream dependencies.

+ Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity.

+ Support the Service to Platform Transformation, which may include training sessions and product coaching.

**You'll have...**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience

+ 5 + years of progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines / technologies / processes as a Release Train Engineer, Product Manager, Platform Engineer, DevOps engineer or similar.

+ 3+ years of experience managing projects or products.

+ 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager / Owner or Technical Product Manager with responsibilities including organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation.

**Even better, you may have...**

+ Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or related field

+ Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing and explaining technical and project related information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff.

+ Experience coordinating multiple teams in a technology environment.

+ Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner of Infrastructure Technology Products, including Platform Engineering, Google Cloud, Monitoring, Container as a Service, or Security Products (SIEM, SOAR, IAM, XDR etc.).

+ Broad range of execution management and leadership skills required.

+ Proven ability to balance concurrent activities.

+ Strong knowledge and experience in software development in an Agile environment.
