We are seeking an experienced, passionate and innovative UNREAL Engine & tools Lead Developer to join our dynamic technology team. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and make a significant impact on our upcoming AAA games. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of game development, be well versed in large scale development using C++ & Blueprint, and have a proven track record of shipping games from start to finish. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, a strong understanding of the gaming industry, and a passion for creating amazing user experiences.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of game engine and tools for our AAA games.
Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and other engineers to ensure our games are fun, visually stunning, and highly performant.
Work with the team to define, design, and implement new features and systems.
Contribute to the technical design and architecture of our game engine.
Optimize the engine and tools to ensure smooth gameplay and high performance.
Implement and maintain robust and efficient code using C++, Python, and Unreal Engine.
Use tools such as Maya, Photoshop, P4, WWise, GitHub, Linux, Backtrace.IO, and WinDbg.
Debug and fix issues across a wide range of systems.
Mentor and guide other team members to foster a culture of learning and growth.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in game development or a related field.
Proven experience shipping a game from start to finish.
Strong experience with Unreal Engine, C++, Python, and other relevant technologies.
Familiarity with tools such as Maya, Photoshop, P4, WWise, GitHub, Linux, Backtrace.IO, and WinDbg.
Excellent knowledge of Vector Math and Linear Algebra.
Ability to write clean, efficient, reliable, and reusable code.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A passion for games and a strong understanding of what makes a game fun to play.
Strong experience designing games with excellent user experience.
Familiarity with large scale development using C++ & Blueprint is a plus.
