**Description**
RectorSeal, a leading manufacturer of chemical specialty sealants and other related mechanical products designed for professional trades, is seeking a highly motivated results oriented **Regional Sales Manager** for the HVAC & Plumbing markets. Major responsibility will be to successfully market the companys line of HVAC and Plumbing products through to the channel distributors, contractors and independent manufacturers reps in the Mid-Atlantic states (VA, MD, PA, DE and S. NJ).
RectorSeal manufactures and/or distributes a variety of chemical and mechanical products for the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing industries. For over 80 years, RectorSeals customers have depended on us for quality products with excellent value, shipped to them in a timely manner. This passion for excellent customer service is the reason RectorSeal has been growing at a very fast pace.
**Responsibilities:**
* Perform outside sales activities to meet regional sales goals
* Increase market penetration by securing new customers and expanding business within existing clients in specified region
* Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within assigned territory
* Develop strong relationships with key accounts and primary stakeholders
* Successfully educate on and market company product lines through internal staff, contractors and Manufacturers Representatives to ensure full market penetration
* Understands the business environment of local market including competition, purchasing, sales and key stakeholder trends and execute growth strategies according to region
* Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions
* Answer customer questions about features, pricing and additional services
* Participate in industry conferences, dealer meetings and other product and utility events
* Report on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)
* Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers from different territories to meet individual and group sales quotas
**Preferred Requirements:**
* College degree preferred
**Minimum Requirements:**
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 3-5 years B2B sales management experience
* Experience in the HVAC and/or Plumbing channel through wholesale distribution
* Ability to train and motivate national sales force of independent manufacturers reps
* Ability to reach and exceed forecasted goals
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Available for 50 75% travel per month
