At this time, we are offering the chance for those of you wishing to enter into the accounting field with little to no experience. If you are proficient using computers and have great attention to detail, then we would like to speak with you. Please see below for responsibilities of this role:

Responsibilities:

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions

- Maintain and update general ledger accounts

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements

- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

- Provide support for audits and tax filings

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

- Check work for accuracy

- Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms

- Scan documents into computer system

- Comply with data integrity and security policies

Requirements: - Proven work experience as a bookkeeper or similar role (preferred but not required)

- Solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting principles

- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong analytical skills for account analysis and reconciliation purposes

- Knowledge of technical accounting procedures and regulations

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Must be able to work in office. Work from home is not an option.
