Responsibilities
+ Train and assist employees on the basis of job-knowledge and productivity
+ Maintain a clean well organized and professional shop atmosphere including job assignments,
personnel problems, and schedules
+ Responsible for the preparation of domestic and foreign shipments in accordance with shipping requirements and specifications
+ Check shipments for correct materials, packing and crating, tagging and handling instructions, loading and/or bracing
+ Prepare bills of lading and other required forms
+ Route local shipments and communicate with carriers
+ Prepare small orders for freight, express or parcel shipments in accordance with shipping practices and requirements
+ Assemble and check orders, do packing and crating
+ Receive all incoming materials, supplies, equipment and returned goods, check received goods against purchase orders or receiving papers
+ Check quantity and part numbers against PO to properly identify materials
+ Route or deliver materials to storage or manufacturing locations
+ Operate forklift and assist with loading and unloading trucks
+ Maintain inventory accuracy in MAIN warehouse
+ Do daily cycle counts
+ Provide materials for production as requested
+ Maintain knowledge of Export regulations and prepare international paperwork
+ Make local deliveries using company cargo van
+ Be able to do all job functions of the Shipping/Receiving Coordinator
