**About the Job**
Were hiring a Senior Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by identifying market opportunities, building customer relationships, and closing sales with industry and academic laboratories seeking bone marrow derived cells for research use and clinical trials. The ideal candidate has the scientific depth and background to partner with researchers and scientists, and is comfortable in building a trust-based communication process and solutions to a dynamic and intelligent customer base. **Required Qualifications**
* Bachelors Degree in a life sciences discipline
* 6+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, business development, or marketing in a life sciences company
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated history of developing external business relationships
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Capability to operate with a high level of organization and excellent time management in a dynamic startup environment
* Able to travel up to 30% of the time
* This position is based full time in our downtown San Francisco office
**Key Responsibilities**
* Drive revenue growth
* Generate new business through a high level of customer and prospect contact including extensive networking, outreach, and customer visits
* Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Ossiums products to make recommendations to prospective clients on solutions that best meet their needs
* Be an inspiring representative of Ossium industry conferences, trade shows, and seminars
* Train, lead, coach, and mentor Associates and Field Scientists
In your first six months some projects youll work on include: * Become an expert on our existing sales process
* Drive revenue growth in the first half of 2022 and beyond
* Build strong relationships with purchasing decision-makers at biotech companies and major academic institutions needing stem cells for their research
* Develop scalable Sales team infrastructure (procedures and norms)
* Represent Ossium at key industry conferences, trade shows, and other events
* Develop strong relationships with members of Ossims Sales team and other key internal teams e.g. donor team, clinical team, development team
