The role

Here you’ll use your common sense, positive attitude and ambition to place good risks, create a pipeline of business and be a “go-to” resource for Allied Healthcare expertise for wholesale brokers throughout the region.

What you’ll be doing:

Underwrite, price and negotiate accounts consistent with the quality of the risk and according to the company’s strategies and guidelines for the Allied Healthcare product line

Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with wholesale brokers throughout the East Region

Maintain excellent customer service standards

Work with operations, claims, finance and marketing to help build or enhance products and contribute to the financial performance of the business unit

Become part of a dynamic team striving for excellence with great career advancement possibilities

When permitted, dedicate 10-20% of time to regional travel for broker visits and industry events

Requirements

2+ years underwriting experience in Allied Healthcare is preferred

Strong relationships with wholesale brokers in the East Region preferred, but not required

B.A./B.S degree from an accredited College or University

Outgoing, driven, high attention to detail and results focused mentality

The ability to identify creative solutions for our partners and push new business production on small, mid-market and national sized risks

$83,000.00 - $109,000.00
