Salary: $225,000 - $300,000 per year

Job Details
Is your background a match?
* JD from an accredited law school
* Admitted to practice in New York and/or New Jersey state bars
* 6+ years of experience as an Associate Attorney, with a focus on M&A and private equity, particularly with data and technology companies (will consider Counsel level candidates)
* Knowledge representing vendors in connection with SaaS agreements and representing data providers is a plus!
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex legal concepts to clients
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal advice
* Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* High level of professionalism and integrity, with a commitment to providing high-quality legal services
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with clients
What will you be doing?
* Represent strategics and private equity, as well as the sell side, venture transactions
* Provide general advice with respect to corporate governance
* Lead and manage M&A and private equity transactions, including drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, merger agreements, and ancillary documents
* Conduct due diligence reviews and provide strategic advice to clients
* Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to provide comprehensive legal services
* Advise clients on the legal aspects of business strategies and decisions, including potential risks
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to M&A and private equity
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, and provide exceptional client service
* Contribute to the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures
