In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Owns development and translation of product roadmap/vision into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and setting deliverable dates.

+ Key contributor in Agile ceremonies including daily standup, backlog refinement, iteration planning, iteration review, and iteration retro.

+ Guides collaboration with business stakeholders and Scrum team to create and influence prioritization of product backlog including user stories as well as defects according to business objectives.

+ Lead the product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new contents for products by determining the target release date.

+ Facilitate communication of sprints, releases, budgets, issues, and relevant information to business stakeholders.

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering or IT related field, or equivalent level of experience required.

+ 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile software development including defining product solutions for consumer-facing software.

+ Certified as Agile Practitioner in a known framework.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills including building trust across teams as well as possess the ability to articulate, coach, and foster Agile discipline.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

+ Life Sciences industry experience in genomics, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or academic and commercial research.

The salary range for this role is $140,000- $160,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
