This is a hybrid role . At Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking for an Automation QA Engineer, who will join the QA team in our R&D department. The position will involve creating automation framework from scratch, developing E2E automation tests, and helping with ensuring the high quality of our company's cutting edge products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Create testing framework from scratch for E2E and integration tests
Develop automated E2E test scenarios
Define/create and maintain test plans and strategies for existing and new projects
Identify and provide feedback on the gap/anomalies in the requirements
Help implement and drive automated testing strategies across multiple systems and platforms
Work with QA engineers, software engineers, product managers and others to help drive a test strategy based on Agile methodologies and implement best practices
Responsible for documenting and reporting issues and resolution
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
At least 3 years experience in python automation development (using REST API client)
Working experience with UI frameworks : webdriver.io, Selenium WebDriver
Experience working within a Linux environment with scripting skills (bash, shell)
Experience with CI tools (Jenkins)
Good knowledge of testing methodologies
Good Server side and frontend side testing for Linux deployed web systems
Experience with reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Experience with writing features/projects Test Plans
Experience with estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities

PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED:
At least 2 years of manual web testing experience
Experience in Agile development methodologies
Previous knowledge and experience with bug management tracking tools
Experience with Dockers, AWS, Airflow, Jenkins, DB’s
New Hire Base Salary Range: $123,000 - $147,600
This role is also eligible to earn annual performance-based incentive compensation in the form of a cash bonus.
