This Designer position is responsible for creating commercially viable product designs for our Home product categories. We are looking for someone who is passionate about design, fashion and future trends, and loves to work with different materials. Design aesthetic ability must be modern and sophisticated to support our brand voice.

By conducting design research and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners, you will give identity and purpose to projects, developing convincing value propositions by design. Over time, you will gain significant responsibility for the impact of design in front-end innovation as well as become a strategic partner. You will also have the chance to grow by:

Engaging with brand leaders to develop product and service experiences that present new value to the business

Driving design consistency across all touchpoints by aligning with other functions and integrating them in the design process

Mastering trends in order to see opportunities and set direction

Responsibilities

Interpret brand needs outlined in creative briefs with the ability to translate and deliver successful packaging designs.

Be an idea generator, self-starter, and collaborative team-player.

Passionate commitment to staying aware of market trends.

Create original 2D designs that complement the brand’s seasonal concepts in body care, gifting and packaging

Engage team members at all levels with impactful presentations of work.

Apply deep understanding of brand codes, maintaining design and having a discerning eye for color across the portfolio.

Deliver product designs and technical turnovers with speed, agility and acute attention to detail.

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product development process

Quickly adapt to feedback and maintain a flexible approach

Embrace opportunities to personally grow and develop skills and competencies.

Demonstrate self-motivation to continuously improve both creative and technical skills

Qualifications

5-7+ years of design experience in a comparable packaging environment

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of packaging/graphic design projects and concepts.

Career track record that shows strong ability to prioritize multiple projects using excellent organizational skills, quality execution and attention to detail.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and layout principles.

Knowledge of print production processes and materials.

Proficiency in creating mock-ups and prototypes to visualize packaging concepts.

Collaborative partner with a team-oriented approach.

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Knowledge and passion for current trends in design, beauty, and fashion.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in design, graphic arts, or equivalent experience.
