Position Responsibilities And Duties:
Provides project management and construction management services to clients.
Performs all Project Engineering responsibilities, and engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance on multiple projects simultaneously.
Inspect project sites, manage, and support a number of district-wide campus specific projects, solar energy projects, and other projects such as modernization and systems upgrades.
Sets up and maintains all aspects of project documentation in the Districts document platform.
Writes project procedures. Reviews project plans for completeness and accuracy.
Prepares bid projects and solicit and evaluate bids.
Prepares billings and expedite payments.
Reviews submittals, RFI's and change order requests.
Minimum Skills Or Experience Requirements:
Will accept a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture and two (2) years of experience as an Project Engineer, Assistant Superintendent, or other occupation/position/job title involving construction.
Will also accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture and three (3) years of experience as an Project Engineer, Assistant Superintendent, or other occupation/position/job title involving construction.

Translating complex, technical issues into terms that key stakeholders or clients can easily understand to enable them to make an informed decision on a construction project.
Identify plans and specifications for construction management on multiple projects simultaneously.
Translate architectural programming elements and guide design professionals to comply with program project scope and budget.
Log and Process Project Documentation such as: Project Meeting Notes, Requests for Information (RFI), Change Order Requests (COR), and Project Correspondence.
Attention to detail in gathering various requirements from stakeholders, clients and external personnel to advise on holistic advance planning for the best execution on construction project goals.
Track, review and process initial Change Order Request (COR) w/ Owner's Team for entitlement of time/and or money.
Cultivate relationships with clients and stakeholders and act in a capacity of a trusted advisor or expert on technical, business, regulatory and/or ethical considerations for construction project planning.
Develop and follow Punch List for completing pre-approved plans and specifications in allotted time.
40 hours/week; $100,526.00 - $144,100.00/year
