THE ROLE
Seeking a dynamic Data Analyst to join our Customer Retention Department, a unique and highly visible team that integrates elements of marketing, operations, strategy, and analytics. As a key contributor to our Executive Leadership team, this role focuses on driving strategic initiatives aimed at retaining and monetizing our existing customer base.
The Customer Retention Department is at the forefront of strategic efforts, combining the skills of analytics, marketing, strategic partnerships, and operations to ensure the long-term satisfaction and loyalty of our valued customers. This multifaceted team is known for its analytical prowess, innovative marketing campaigns, and hands-on operational approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and drive strategic initiatives with a project management mindset, encompassing data gathering, analysis, recommendation, implementation, and performance reporting
Optimize profitability and offers through a strategic lens
Utilize advanced analytics modeling to lead project initiatives and act as a key consultant, providing top-tier storytelling to stakeholders
Offer sound recommendations to company executives, including the business unit President
Own, develop, and report subscriber forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with subscriber profitability goals
Contribute to the reduction of subscriber churn.
Work collaboratively with business partners across, employing a hands-on approach to operationalize ideas
Create and manage all existing customer communications across various channels, including web, email, print, television commercials, and video elements
Collaborate with strategic partners such as television networks, producers, and celebrity talents to execute large-scale marketing campaigns
Think creatively and proactively to generate bold ideas that contribute to revenue and cash flow growth
Work together with a diverse team, valuing unique perspectives and experiences that contribute to shared success.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (4-year) with an interest that demonstrates logical thinking
Masters Degree in a relevant field a plus (exp. Business, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics)
4+ years experience in a data-driven analytics or strategy role
Experience building models, forecasts, budgets, and dynamic reports with SQL, Tableau, and Excel that provide meaningful direction and insight
Strong quantitative skills, with demonstrated success working with large datasets; capable of driving actionable recommendations
Experience preparing and delivering presentations tailored for a specific audience
Strength in written and verbal communication; interpersonal and relationship management skills
Excellent project management and time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
