A&P MECHANIC
We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to join our team working in an active flight school maintenance environment. Compensation for this position is DOE.

Essential Functions:
This position works as an A&P mechanic team member performing inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance on piston flight training aircraft. The successful A&P aviation mechanic candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality. Technicians will also possess the ability to dynamically move through Thrust Flight's and adhere to the maintenance and manufacturer manuals, and make safety-focused decisions on a day to day basis.
Responsibilities
Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and company policies
Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries
Follow all policies and procedures
Keep a clean and orderly work environment
Perform job duties in a safe manner
Perform other duties as assigned
Avionics troubleshooting experience a plus
Qualifications
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
2 or more years of piston-powered aircraft maintenance experience
Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals
Possess adequate tools
Thrust Flight is seeking quality an A&P Mechanic to join our growing team. We need an A&P mechanic that can fit in quickly, have a positive attitude, and have General Aviation experience working on piston powered aircraft; preferably Cessna 172, Piper PA-28, and Piper PA-44.
FAA Inspection Authorization, desirable
