We seek a motivated, collaborative Neurology Sales Associate to join our epilepsy team in the Capital Ecosystem . This position is an ideal entry-level role in the pharmaceutical industry . Candidates should live in the MD or greater DC area. If not, relocation assistance is available to those willing to move to the area.
The Neurology Sales Associate will be responsible for promoting UCB’s neurology products to specific healthcare providers throughout the assigned geography, including Silver Springs, College Park, Northeast Washington D.C., Capital Heights, and Northern VA.
About the role:
Conduct sales calls with physicians and care providers throughout the territory to provide appropriate and compliant solutions for patient needs
Work closely with your UCB teammates to maximize UCB’s impact within the region
Build relationships with healthcare professionals throughout your territory
Represent a highly respected company with an unparalleled legacy in epilepsy and neurology
What you will do:
Develop, execute and continuously refine a master business plan
Analyze business and sales data to inform your strategic and tactical approach to maximizing growth within your territory
Collaborate with your colleagues to drive sales within shared accounts, and, where appropriate, serve as the primary business manager for specific offices and sales targets
Assist patients and offices with access and affordability questions
Develop solid clinical knowledge of epilepsy and our products
Abide by the highest ethical standards
Who you’ll work with:
HCPs and KOLs in the assigned geography
Internal members of the epilepsy Ecosystem sales team
Interested? For this role, we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills.
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 2 years of business-to-business sales or pharma experience
Completion of a formal sales training program
Valid U.S. Driver's license with no more than two moving violations in the last three years
Internal applicants should be in their current job for at least 12 months, must meet performance standards and are not on formal corrective/disciplinary process (PIP), warning, final warning, or compliance warning letters within the last 12 months.
