Administrative Coordinator - McCourt School of Public Policy - Georgetown University

Job Overview

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for maintaining day to day administrative services to support faculty, staff, and students in the McCourt School. Duties include but are not limited to:

+ Maintain professional office environment

+ Coordinate, oversee, and/or perform a wide variety of administrative and program support activities on behalf of the McCourt School Office of the Dean

+ Serve as the initial point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external constituencies and work closely with the Student Affairs Coordinator to ensure that school needs and activities are well-supported

+ Manage the facilities and supports the recruitment and hiring of work study students

+ Provide primary support for faculty

+ Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices

Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation

Reporting to the Dean’s Executive Assistant, the Administrative Coordinator manages Work Study Students.

They use independent judgment to help maintain a professional work environment.

This position has been designated as Hybrid. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. Such review may necessitate a change to a position’s mode of work designation. Requirements and Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree

+ At least 2 years of administrative experience in an office environmen

Pay Range:

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:

$19.20 - $28.70

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
