Highly ranked by Vault, the firm is looking to appoint a hybrid Litigation Associate to focus on varied Commercial Litigation matters within the Disputes Group of a leading US law firm.
Great role for a Mid-Level Litigation Attorney with 5-6 years experience in Litigation. The ideal candidate will have Big Law experience, strong academic record, Texas bar and varied Litigation experience. An interest in writing and strengths in: drafting briefs, pleadings, discovery, depositions, handling factual and legal issues are important for this role.
Job Description
As Litigation Associate Key Responsibilities include:
Taking depositions
Drafting briefs, motions and pleadings
Leading on discovery requests and interrogatories, and other legal correspondence/ litigation documents
Handling varied Commercial Litigation work within the Disputes Group
Strong communication externally and internally, working closely with the wider practice group
Actively contributing to the development and maintenance of client relationships
The Successful Applicant
The successful Litigation Associate will have demonstrable experience including:
Admitted to practice in Texas
5-6 years relevant Commercial Litigation and Disputes experience
Commercial litigation experience including drafting briefs, pleadings, discovery, depositions, handling factual and legal issues, conducting oral arguments and discovery are important for this role
Strong writing, organizational and time management skills
Forward thinking, highly collaborative approach

The Litigation Associate will be receive the following benefits:
Cravath pay scale 5th year $365,000 or 6th year $390,000 PA base salary (depending on experience)
