Senior Network Engineer Fullstack (BE-heavy) Part Time Location: Bethesda, MD, USA You will be a part of a small team of Network Engineers working with Cisco routers, switches, and ASA firewalls focused on maximizing the RDT&E network uptime, security, and efficiency.
To qualify, you will need:
• DOD Top Secret Security Clearance - If you had a clearance in the past 24 months, we may be able to reactivate it
• One of the following IAT Level III certifications: CISSP, CASP, CCNP Security, CISA, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
• Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• 10 years of networking experience, 3 of which include experience with Cisco in an Ethernet environment.
• Experience working with Cisco routers, switches, Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) firewalls and COMSEC equipment.
• Capability to diagnose Tier 3 network problems working with Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing/switching devices.
• Familiarity with network management tools and experience applying network security best practices.
• Ability to oversee a project from inception to completion and troubleshoot problems, conduct research and propose new technology solutions.
• Experience with Cisco Power IDS and familiarity with Splunk.
