Director Project Management

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains effective working relationships with Corporate Workplace Leadership and Client Lines of Business; single point of contact for Facility Partner related concerns
Sets strategic vision and execution agenda to ensure performance goals are met for the Project Management organization.
Oversees all phases of project management process - - including project planning/initiation, design, construction, commissioning, and financial/administrative closeout
Ensures coordination of effort across functions areas. Areas include, but are not limited to:
and Investments
Management
Facilities
Stakeholders (Portfolio, Project Management, Corporate Workplace Executives and Lines of Business)
Overall responsibility for creating, managing and reporting annual budget and proforma performance to Corporate Workplace and leadership
Develops and maintains a climate that attracts, retains, and motivates a diverse staff. Serves as a mentor, guide and coach to staff
Maintains a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the field
Handles other duties as assigned

Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:
EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE - SKILLS
Four year college degree or a combination of college and comparable work experience
MBA/PE/AIA a plus
10-12 years experience with managing all aspects of the construction project management process to include, but not limited to the following:
Design & Construction
Pricing and Cost Estimation
Contracting
Construction Planning
Advanced Scheduling Procedures & Techniques
Cost Control & Monitoring
Quality Control & Safety During Construction
Experience managing and assigning a portfolio of work to Project Management Team
Experience developing and managing client relationship; develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
Manages day-to-day client interaction.
Sets and manages client expectations.
Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Efficient Management and Leadership ability
Effective budgeting and cost management of projects
Efficient planning and coordination of activities
Effective quality checking of final deliveries
Well versed with the usage of computer and Microsoft office tools, Internet and email
Excellent Time Management and organizational skills
