About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Operations Excellence to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a strategic operations leader with a proven track record of driving operational improvement and at least 10 years' experience in manufacturing operations improvement methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, and TQM. This role is pivotal in leading the strategic improvement priorities, directing the Operations Excellence team, and ensuring the implementation of the company's operational excellence framework. The SVP will be responsible for driving operational performance and profitability through continuous improvement methods, and will work closely with segment presidents to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives.As the Senior Vice President, Operations Excellence, the role involves providing both strategic and functional leadership, including mentorship in operations excellence methods, safety, and sustainability leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to influence and lead in a matrixed organization. Key responsibilities also include leading the management processes for long-term capital expenditure planning, and annual review and execution, as well as facilitating senior leadership team sessions to develop operational excellence strategies. The position requires a high level of integrity, a commitment to team results, and the ability to effectively communicate across business lines to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
