Baer is looking for Senior Backend Developer for a 3-month Federal Remote Project.
Title: Senior Backend Developer
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 month
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)
Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical development lead for the Kafka application, providing expert guidance to the client team.
Develop scalable and efficient backend solutions within the Kafka application.
Collaborate with both functional and technical teams to understand requirements and ensure seamless integration with front-end components.
Utilize Agile Development Lifecycle best practices, conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to development coding standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.
Implement and maintain robust and secure backend systems, leveraging best practices in software development.
Optimize backend performance and ensure high availability and scalability of applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Kafka application.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate best practices into development processes.
Required Experience: 5+ years of Structured Query Language (SQL) experience.
5+ years of experience with Java.
5+ years of Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience.
5+ years of Apache Kafka experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
