**PRN Charge Nurse – Med Surg/Behavioral Health**
_Fast-paced, high volume Med Surg/Behavioral Health Department is looking for top skilled nurses. Is that you?_
**Work location:** Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231
**Work hours:** PRN (As needed) | Night Shift | Rotating Weekends, Holidays

**Here’s What You Need**
+ Nursing Diploma required or
+ Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required or
+ BSN preferred
+ 1 year experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting required
+ 2 years experience in Med Surg/Behavioral Health experience highly preferred
+ RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
+ BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
**What You Will Do**
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
+ Assesses the patient
+ Plans the care of the patient
+ Intervenes as appropriate
+ Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
+ Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
+ Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
